# Snooze a framework

> Snoozes an active framework in your organization until a date, or changes the
end date of an existing snooze. While a framework is snoozed, its tests and
documents are hidden and send no notifications, and its policies are marked
inactive. Vanta keeps collecting data in the background, and the framework
returns to active at 00:00 UTC on snoozedUntilDate. Draft and archived
frameworks cannot be snoozed.
