# Update vendor alert settings

> Changes alert settings for your organization. Categories and fields you leave
out keep their current values, and no setting can be set to null. The response
returns the complete updated settings. If someone else updates the settings
between your read and your save, your update can overwrite theirs. Requires
continuous monitoring.
